About the Role
You will be supporting Kyle who is a young male in his early 20's that has exceptional artistic talents! This is a unique opportunity to walk alongside Kyle with his diverse talents and encourage him with his goals and interests. Kyle has a passion for art and technology, and also enjoys planes, basketball, mini golf and travel! Kyle lives at Raphael Service which is based in Somerfield and lives with a couple of his flat mates. For this role we are looking for someone who can expand on his talents in a safe and supportive environment.
You will be energetic, empathetic and able to work alongside each of our people, focussing on creating a life of rich and diverse experiences while being able to read situations, problem solve and apply boundaries or offer space. Daily tasks include supporting with daily routines while encouraging independence to develop skills and personal growth. You will have the confidence to support cooking, medication administration, and household tasks. You will be passionate about supporting and extending people’s ability to access and be part of their wider community. If you are looking for a new challenge this could be the opportunity for you.
This position's salary scale is set by pay equity and dependant on qualification level, pays between $23.15 and $28.25 per hour.
